CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS AND ACTION
Haiti is actively addressing climate change through community education, reforestation, and institutional support. Workshops and awareness campaigns engage local populations in sustainable practices, while reforestation efforts restore ecosystems and provide livelihoods. The government’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP) aims to integrate climate risk management into development strategies, supported by international funding. However, challenges such as weak institutional capacity and limited financial resources hinder progress. Despite these obstacles, ongoing initiatives demonstrate a commitment to building resilience against climate impacts and fostering community responsibility for environmental stewardship in Haiti. We educate Haitian communities about climate change impacts and promote sustainable practices. Our initiatives include workshops, awareness campaigns, and reforestation efforts to build resilience and minimize environmental impact.
COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLBEING
